| # 13 june 2011 at 15:04 Just so that you know, had apparently the same goal (but now it's dead)... And what competition is it? So that we know what to advise and what not to... Не уверен? Не делай.
Pas sûr? Fais pas.
Not confident? Don't. |

I don't like competition. No-one is the best because a lot of people focus on different things. I mostly talk about what parkour is, How to do parkour, and ways to help you to do parkour. Of course I will discuss other topics but those are just some guide lines on what I follow. I know other people have tried and failed, But isn't that because the lack of views? For instance I'll use YouTube. Say you have a low quality video that gets 10 views, you will most likely not make another video. Compare this to having a 1 Million view video, you will almost certainly make another video. I think this can definitely associate with blogs as they both have just the likeliness to die away. There may only be a few people that get noticed but I plan On being one of those people. |

| # 13 june 2011 at 23:09 How can I say it... I don't like. Your blog is about parkour, by now, you mainly show freerunning videos. Parkour belongs to David Belle ideas, it's about movement in a certain way, the one he shared, not about making your own way (which is freerunning/art du déplacement). I may look like a little extremist. But parkour or freerunning aren't about flips ("He shows that parkour isnt just flips"), they are both about movement, but one's goal is efficiency, the other's aesthetics. If we're not clear about what we do, we'll never be understood ! |

Thank you, I was getting it wrong. I just googled them to learn a bit more. It said that Parkour ('art du déplacement (the art of moving)) is to overcome any obstacle in your path by adapting to the environment. And Freerunning is Urban acrobatics, to use the landscape to perform movements. Please tell me if this is correct. I dont want to get myself wrong. |

| # 14 june 2011 at 08:36 To summarize : first came the "art du déplacement", then David decided to share his own way not the same than his friends, and it was a bit more "martial" : he called it parkour. Finally, while in UK, Sébastien Foucan began to use the word freerunning. It was parkour but th worldwide community mades it evolve by integrating many flips and now freerunning is about acrobatics. |

So When is comes down to it. Freerunning is using landscape as a street styled gymnast. and Parkour is using landscape as Point a to b. If this is right than thank you |
