thread title is out of context and has no relation to the actual argument in the 3run forum

The thread title seems to reflect the view of the dumber people on the 3run board. I get angry reading forums these days :/

3run is a hilariously bad forum

Apparently Im a pessimist cos I tell them how it is

Fried Stick Man, I forgot to adress you on the 3run board, was too busy dealing with the Fishman. You wrote

and the elbow climbups.... srsly

Yea, seriously what?

a) after an exhausting training, you cant perform at your top skill anymore. thats baby-easy logic. SRSLY !
b) they are a valid technique as is anything that can help you in parkour. oh its not cool and stylish? oh but it works? oh too bad that this is baby easy logic too. SRSLY!

come on, stop that competitive attitude. you dont know what they did BEFORE that was filmed, so shut it. you have every right to find the video boring, i find it kinda boring too at some points, but that doesnt mean you can bash their training. to be honest with you, i dont even think you can really understand it. you look at it very one-dimensional. did you ever take into account, the training to roughen the skin? because forearm inside skin is naturally pretty soft and easily gets ripped up. ever took into account, the pain training? putting your whole bodyweight on parts of the body that werent meant to carry it alone trains to get used to the feeling and not have the body react with shock if you ever get into this position. ever took into account, that this might not only be training for climbups? seen generation yamakasi, the part where chau slips at landing an armjump? he lands in such a position. training strength for that sorta thing is important too. you see, there is lots of points you didnt raise and i dont believe you even though of, i think you were just very quick to bash.

so, if you want to discuss, please, take my points into account and show me wrong (or admit that you were a little quick to bash).

round 1. discuss!

pS: how does it not reflect the argument. read what the fishman is saying. maybe it doesnt reflect YOUR own words, but there is more to that thread than only you

a) if your too exhausted to train properly, why training. training when fatigued is only a recipe for injuries.
b) it is a valid technique. i just think its stupid to train it when you can spend time on training more efficient techniques.

your lovley paragraph) i dont have any competitive attitude. your points on their infinite-dimensional training do have a logic point, i do wonder if they know anything about it, or you just tried to find some logic behind their training.

mmm I can't say U're wrong... But still, if you stop the training when you are just starting to feel tired, you will never know your limits, you will never know what you are capable of when tired... And that is not correct, to me.

Training when tired is really important, because it takes much more concentration (focus) to do the simple things with no mistakes. Moreover, it makes you truly feel your body, I mean you HEAR your heart, you FEEL your muscles (you know, when they start to shake and you can't controll them? )...

Actually, training IS "getting tired", and still go on! And as you progress, it should take you more and more to get you tired...
But if you stop every time you feel tired, you will never improve, I think.

Come to the forearms climbups, I find it normal to use this "technique" when you just CAN'T climb faster anymore! It is natural, ain't it?

So, I don't really see the point of the argument. If they wanted to make such a vid, why not? It is true that after watching a vid of some unknown tracer making such climbups I usually leave a comment such as "work out your climbups" or "pull-up, push-up and keep-up!". But here it is inappropriate, as the level of these guys is well-known.

I guess.

Peace

Wow, your title scared me andi

+1 to andi and Ivano, I've nothing more to say. I did one training with Chau and their team, and I promise that I'll never challenge their way of training, if you think you can, I suggest you to go train with them

Remember: first we train, then we share!

there is a huge difference between "just starting to get tired" and "exhausted".
and im not telling anyone not to make a video. i jsut say i dont like it, and explain why.
