Ginásio de Ginástica da UFPB -- local de encontro do Seminário de Parkour no II LEBEL.
Variedade de movimentos num local com ótima localização.
Inside the building, in one of the blocs of the university, there are a wide range of obstacles ranging for stairs and ramps; and a very interesting precision jump from one building to another (from the black, to the white one, as in the picture).
It's a 4 meters high and nearly 3 wide. Very nasty thing I might add. Not for those with fear of hights.
Rails in front of the University Hospital, so, the best time to go there is in the weekends, when this section of the hospital is closed.
The part of rails sided with two trees and benchs is perfect well positioned, giving the tracer a whole lot of possibilities.
Enjoy it and don't forget visiting the other places in the area.
This parking lot is alot of fun for those seeking for a serie of long and medium range precisions, finishing with a climb up and some rails.
Although a lot of fun, if you're planning to visit this one you should attend other spots in the area as this is really limited, offering some not-so-much precisions -- but fun.
Well, like other places, it will depend on your imagination, if you will wether enjoy it or not
These are the bars from the students residency in the Public Federal University of Paraíba (Universidade Federal da Paraíba). Main point of meeting for the native tracers whenever attending a trainning section in the vicinity.
It has, naturally, a bar and a tree with some very interesting roots, perfect for variation of precisions and whatever one has in mind.
A playground in the Castelo Branco neighbor, build for children but offering uneque structures for Parkour. Offers a huge range of possibilities, from precisions to laches and sault de bras.
The Conselho Regional de Engenharia is a building with an perfect parking entrance, favoring a sault de bras and precisions as well as cat-to-cat and other sorts of movements, peding on imagination and skills of the visiting tracer.
Known in english as "Children's Park" it was firstly intended to be a place of recreation by infants, but it gives an unequal oportunity of different movimentation as its constructions are dispersed in a wide range of different ways.
From the trees to the skate board ramps and alike, the place offers a great range of possibility, being one of the favorite places for training for the native tracers.
A huge square, with tons of different kinds of moves and structures.
The center is slightly lower than the surroundings, forcing the construction of access points that can be used to training.
Nice place for precision jumps and such.
Not easily accessible, though located near the av. Epitacio Pessoa.
A famous location in Brasilia, the super block 308, in the south wing is a widely famous Parkour spot across the country.
It's more famous because of the trees and the numerous possibilities of different moves.
This place is particularly tasty. The access is not very easy, though the map maybe useful, I'd advice whoever is wanting to go there, to stop at the University Hospital and walk all the way long (not that long, though).
The walking, though, will be much rewarded I ensure you.
Various possibilities, a place condensing tons of different moves.
Naturally, being a University, this place is huge and, as so, contains various possibilities, for all tastes.
A place of such importance (and as being a place of huge traffic), options for transportation are not a problem, at all, whenever you desires to go there. Though I'd not like to see none getting to the wrong "side" of the University, for that matter, pay attention to where the bus is heading to. For instance, while the Administration building is located in the western side of the university, the University Hospital is located in opposite far side, having a bus access solely to it.
And those two places condensates whole different and interesting spots for Parkour, and, usually, going to one place means not going to the other place.
About the freedom to practice, it is unlimited IF, and only IF you're training in the morning of a Saturday. I'd like to reinforce that by freedom I am saying the duty to respect others and the space (and not forgetting it's a space of study and research).
Enjoy it!
PS.: in the picture, the university is located in its center.
